
Alfredo Sauce Recipe
This sauce is commonly served on fettuccine, but don't limit it
to noodles. It also turns gnocchi into something rather sumptuous.
Servings: 4-6, enough for 1 lb. noodles or gnocchi
Ingredients
1/2 lb. butter, minced
2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
Rinse a large serving bowl with hot water and pat dry. Cook noodles
or gnocchi and drain. Place in the warmed serving bowl. Add the butter
and toss lightly. Sprinkle with grated cheese and mix again until
the butter is completely dissolved and the pasta is well coated.
Serve at once.
If you want a more colorful dish you can sprinkle it with minced
parsley just before serving.
